Hackney Wick History Club
Benefit from the amazing historical knowledge and local area enthusiasm of the wonderful Simon Cole
Simon runs Hackney Tours, a hugely productive programme of talks and guided walks around the borough of Hackney, all exploring specific themes and stories of the local area. Simon has produced many events for Hackney Circle members over the years and his events have always been enormously attractive to Hackney Circle members.
Simon is running the Hackney Wick History Club together with St. Mary of Eton and with the support of the Wick Fund. He is keen to get us over to St. Mary of Eton to participate in sharing our stories and experiences of Hackney Wick with the other members of the History Club. Very generously St. Mary of Eton are offering a delightful lunch and this presents a lovely social environment to welcome our members and to encourage some interesting and lively conversation!
This is a great opportunity to meet local residents from the E9 and Hackney Wick area and to socialise together with the support of St. Mary of Eton. You might even learn a bit about the history of the area from Simon!
