Peer Gallery workshops

Artist Aya Haidar facilitated workshops in 2023, working with Hackney Circle members to create their own amazing artwork.

Over the course of six months Hackney Circle members attended workshops at Hoxton’s Peer Gallery.

Artist Aya Haidar guided the group to produce their own banners in response to Peer Gallery’s exhibition, ‘we are a group of people composed of who we are’. The group discussed themes and societal issues important to them to inspire the artwork created.

The banners created by the group are to be shown in a private view for Hackney Circle members at Peer Gallery in December 2023.
